| Custom Trucker Hat DesignThis class will create an opportunity for students to learn a stylish craft that will help them generate some quick cash or make a great gift. Students will learn urban typography design and will be using paint markers. Students enrolled will be given half a dozen blank hats to practice on. | Comic StripsLearn the techniques involved in creating comic strips for books, magazines, newspapers or online use. Learn tips on how to create your own ongoing series. Students will explore the principles of sequential comic strip art, illustration styles, character development, pacing, design, mood and setting and begin preparing a portfolio to submit to publishers. | Skateboard Deck DesignThe creativity of the Skateboarders deck is as crucial as their moves. The overall design and image of a skateboard has been taken to the next level. This class will cover different techniques in designing decks with paint markers, spray paint, acrylics and some computer design. Students will be provided with 3 blank skateboard decks. | Web Design Made EasyStop paying others to have your website designed, do it yourself! This class is intended for small business owners, photographers and other designers who want to save a few bucks but need to get a professional looking website designed in a hurry. With use of templates, students will be able to customize, and change templates to personalize their web pages. Other topics will include dynamic galleries, shopping carts and adding custom widgets. Some html coding will be discussed so that students can customize their pages beyond template designs. Class can be taken multiple times. Custom Sneaker DesignIf you enjoy painting, this class is for you. Custom Sneaker Design is a niche market, but great painters & designers can make great money in this field. Students can expect to learn how to use their painting and drawing skills and adopt them to sneaker design. A pair of white sneakers are included with registration for use as a canvas. Some paints are provided, but additional paints can be purchased in class. This class can be taken multiple times.
